Former executive director of the Flint Hills Regional Leadership Program, Ailleen Cray, lost her courageous battle with cancer on December 27, 2016. Among her many community service roles, Ailleen’s mentoring skills were put to good use as director of the Flint Hills Regional Leadership Program. Ailleen served in this role for almost 20 years. Her dedication to the Flint Hills Regional Leadership Program Ailleen provided a lasting legacy of leadership to sustain and build a more positive future for the Flint Hills region.
In memory of her, the Flint Hills Regional Leadership Program board has named the scholarship fund the Ailleen Cray Scholarship Fund. Candidates should apply for the scholarship during the application process if the full tuition fee is a restrictive consideration for participation.
